About Us
The Cambridgeshire Golf Club, Bar Hill is a club with a long tradition. For us, it’s not all about serious golf – we love it when our teams win, but we’re just as enthusiastic about our groups that simply meet for fun and socialising.
We don’t differentiate between our members. Anyone is welcome to join us, unlike some other Golf Clubs who definitely do descriminate, whether overtly or otherwise.
The Club runs competitions all year round and every member is able to join in the competitions, assuming of course that you’ve paid the annual Affiliation Fee.
The Affiliation Fee covers a number of functions including;
- affiliation to England Golf and the Cambridge Area Golf Union,
- your recognised handicap index as part of the World Handicapping System
- the National County Card – which allows you to play at other Clubs in the region and wider afield (actually something like 1300 other courses) at reduced green fees;
- Personal Liability Insurance up to £10m against injury to others that may result from you or your play;
- together with a number of other benefits such as discounts on golf travel holidays, Vision Express vouchers,a few increased discounts on green fees to specific courses.
