The Cambridgeshire Golf Club, Ladies Section enjoys playing both competitive and social golf and a full diary of events have been planned for 2024. Players of all abilities mix and play together and new members will be made most welcome.
Our main golfing days are Saturdays and Wednesdays, but the Monday morning social 9-holes followed by coffee is also very popular. We play both Ladies and Mixed friendly inter-club matches which are enjoyable, social occasions and provide an ideal opportunity to experience other courses in the area. Our members actively take part in County meetings and also County inter-club matches. We will also host the final of the County’s Foursomes Match-play knock-out.
Two particular highlights of our golfing calendar are our Ladies Away Day where we enjoy a day’s golf followed by a meal and prizes and a special Ladies Day in July when we play 18 holes in the morning and for the more energetic, a 9-hole mixed competition in the afternoon. The day concludes with garden party, our fingers are crossed for beautiful weather! We do hope thorough out 2024 everyone enjoys playing golf at our club, whether it’s in Club fixtures, County competitions, Opens or just a friendly 9 holes. with our best wishes The Ladies Committee.
