Reasonable Adjustments
This updated buggy and trolley policy has been published following an increase in the number of enquiries from golfers as to what is a reasonable adjustment for disabled people who require the use of a buggy in order to play golf.
The aim of the policy is to provide clarification to visitors and members of The Cambridgeshire Golf Club:
Key principles
The following points have been included and considered in the policy:
• Inclusion of how The Cambridgeshire Golf Club will make reasonable adjustments to include disabled people who require the use of a buggy in order to play.
• This includes how buggy use will be managed when weather conditions may otherwise restrict their usage.
• The reasonable adjustments have been made on a hole by hole basis and with consideration of the topography and the clay-based nature of the Golf Course.
• The policy includes single seater buggies, golf trolleys and people who own their own buggies.
